Prior to this, the hockey goalie mask was only commonly worn by professional hockey goalies, and they were not even available in children’s sizes. Then it seemed as though several hockey goalie mask brands popped onto the goalie equipment scene. The first goalie mask that I remember being available at a reasonable price and sized for adults and kids a like were Badger goalie masks. Then, It seemed like Warwick goalie masks were becoming very popular, Warwicks have always been my favorite brand of goalie mask because of there shape and the quality with which they are built. Both Badgers and Warwicks were good options for all sorts of goaltenders, but when the Itech goalie mask became available it seemed to be the mask of choice for the majority of goaltenders.

Itech goalie masks are a great option for many goalies because not only are they reasonably priced, but they also provide sufficient protection for you or your youth goaltender’s head and face. While the Itech goalie mask might not be made of kevlar (bullet proof material) like Warwick goalie masks, the are made of composite materials that should be able to withstand the force of the puck of a very hard slap shot. Another great feature of the Itech hockey goalie mask is that they offer different models that range in quality and craftsmanship. They also offer pre painted goalie masks with a variety of professional looking paint jobs.

I could be wrong, but I do believe that Itech hockey goalie masks are one of the most accessible goaltender masks available as they can be bought at almost any hockey pro shop or online hockey store. If you can’t afford to spend a lot of money on a Warwick goalie mask, your second option should probably be an Itech goalie mask.
