When many youth hockey players hit a certain level of hockey, like high school or junior hockey, they see their ice time increase dramatically due to the requirement to practice almost every day that they do not have games. Although some teams might provide ice hockey gloves for you, if they don’t, it is important that you keep your gloves in good condition.

The palm of the ice hockey glove is the part of the glove that usually wears down the quickest. Having holes in the palms of your glove can be incredibly annoying as well as unsafe. One thing that you can do to prevent re-palming of your hockey gloves is properly air them out after each skate.
