Many people who appreciate either watching or playing ice hockey are often on the look out for NHL hockey pucks of their favorite National Hockey League teams. Some people casually collect hockey pucks and others are fanatical about it. We used to have quite the ice hockey puck collection when I was a kid. There were pucks with team logos from all sorts of leagues, but perhaps the most treasured of pucks in our puck collection were the NHL hockey pucks with either retired team logos or defunct teams. We had pucks from old National Hockey League teams such as the Colorado Rockies, Hartford Whalers, Winnipeg Jets and Quebec Nordiques. For some reason these pucks always felt a little bit more valuable than the rest of the NHL ice hockey pucks.

Finding NHL team pucks is actually fairly easy now that the internet has become so popular and easy to use. There are many websites where you can buy ice hockey collectibles and memorabilia. You can find anything from the most common NHL hockey puck to a very obscure limited edition puck from past all star games, for example. Auction websites often have people on there selling some incredibly rare hockey memorabilia and if you enjoy collecting hockey pucks these are definitely websites you would want to visit on a daily basis.

If you are uncomfortable buying things on the web you can still participate in hockey puck collecting, especially if you live in a town that has a decent hockey presence. Many ice hockey equipment pro shops that sell any thing from ice hockey skates to pro stock hockey sticks also sell a variety of hockey pucks with many logos on them. Also, if you go to any professional, college or junior hockey games in your home town the arenas usually have souvenir shops that sell many collectible hockey pucks. The other way to go about finding rare NHL hockey pucks is to go to sports memorabilia shops. Sometimes these shops offer some great pucks for your collection. Anything from autographed pucks by current and ex NHL players to game used pucks in historic games can be found at these memorabilia shops.

If you are interested in starting your own NHL hockey pucks collection, the great thing about this hobby is that it is usually relatively inexpensive and each puck usually only costs a few bucks a piece. Collecting hockey pucks is something that I consider more fun than collecting hockey cards simply because you can display your hockey puck collection as a nice decorative piece around the house and you don’t have to worry about keeping them in mint condition like you have to with ice hockey cards.

Many hockey enthusiasts and ice hockey players have a desire to collect hockey memorabilia, and while this is not the most lucrative memorabilia niche, it can be a very fun hobby if you enjoy hockey. Most people think of hockey cards or autographed jerseys when they think of ice hockey memorabilia, but one of the more interesting collections when it comes to hockey is collecting custom hockey pucks with team logos from many different leagues printed on them.

The great thing about collecting custom ice hockey pucks is that they are relatively inexpensive, and they are much more difficult to tarnish or damage when you compare them to ice hockey cards. Another benefit collection customized hockey pucks is that they display nicely when you compare them to other collectibles. You can stack the hockey pucks facing out on a fireplace mantle, a shelf or even a boxed frame. It can be difficult to display other memorabilia without having it look a bit out of place, but a hockey puck collection usually looks nice and it is a great conversation piece when you have company over for dinner.

You can buy hockey pucks with your favorite team logos on them if you attend that teams hockey game. Usually their are souvenir shops at hockey games which sell variations of their teams custom hockey pucks. You can also easily order unique and rare pucks online at various hockey websites and/or auction type websites where you bid on a puck that is to your liking.

If you are looking to customize ice hockey pucks with your own teams logo on it, that can be done quite easily too with the advancements of things like the internet. Websites like MonsterPuck.com offer custom hockey puck creation services for an affordable price. It should be noted that in order for you to get customized ice hockey pucks, most of the time you will have to order your pucks in bulk orders of one hundred pucks or more. Ordering your own custom hockey pucks is a great way to personalize hockey pucks for your amateur hockey team as well as create some memorabilia of your own that will be incredibly rare, yet will conjure up great memories when you see your customized puck.

If you are looking for a fun hobby where you can collect something that is hockey related but can’t get into collecting hockey cards, you might really want to consider starting your very own hockey puck collection.

Many hockey enthusiasts and hockey players go through a hockey card collecting phase at one point or another in their lives. Ice hockey is a sport that many people become extremely passionate about as soon as they get a little taste for the glory that is hockey. You do not have to have ever played hockey in order to appreciate it, many of my good friends have never played hockey before, but the appreciate the game for many reasons and they understand the details of what appears to be a very complex sport at first glance. Collecting hockey cards is a fun and healthy hobby which if you do it for long enough can have a nostalgic effect on you when you revisit your hockey card collection years down the road.

I actually have quite the hockey card collection, all of which were collected around twenty or more years ago. The hockey cards I was always interested in obtaining were the Wayne Gretzky hockey cards. Obviously many people were fans of “The Great One”, so getting rare Gretzky hockey cards was pretty difficult, and I would imagine that it is even more difficult today. However, believe it or not, I actually owned a Wayne Gretzky rookie card when I was too young to know the value of it. Unfortunately I ended up losing track of it and do not have that card anymore, but if I did I am sure it would be worth a lot of money.

The thing about collecting hockey cards is that you should not go into it thinking that someday you will be rich when you sell your Wayne Gretzky hockey cards in the future. Most hockey cards are hardly worth anymore than you initially spent on them back in the day. The value in collecting hockey cards should be the enjoyment and satisfaction of collecting hockey cards of your favorite players of the past and present. One day when you are much older, you can look at your hockey card collection and conjure up all those memories that you had of the players that you used to look up to.

This does not necessarily mean that you can’t make any money off of your hockey card collection if in fact you do decide to sell them someday. If you happen to have a rare card of a super star hockey player such as Wayne Gretzky, and you can keep it in mint condition for many years, then you might be able to sell it and make some money off of it. For me though, I would prefer to simply hold onto that card and keep it for as long as I can and pass it down to future generations of my family, because once you have a valuable hockey card of your favorite hockey player you become somewhat attached to all of the memories that your rare hockey card represents.

Many kids who play hockey or follow hockey like to play a game called mini hockey sticks. Basically mini hockey sticks is a game of hockey that you play on your knees in a carpeted area in your home most of the time. A lot of youth hockey teams that make road trips play knee hockey in hotel rooms and hallways as well. To play mini hockey sticks you need some miniature plastic hockey sticks that are often actually manufactured as souvenir hockey sticks for professional hockey teams. You also use a soft ball, this is very important to prevent breaking things in the house or hotel room where you are playing.

Plastic hockey sticks are pretty easy to come by today, as you can find them at local hockey shops, sporting good stores, toy stores and even online. You can also buy full mini hockey kits that come fully loaded with two plastic hockey sticks, a few soft balls or pucks and even two miniature hockey nets. Back when I was a kid, it was much more difficult to find the mini plastic hockey sticks used to play knee hockey. Most of the time, the only place where you could get these sticks was if you went to a professional, college or junior hockey game where they sold team branded plastic mini hockey sticks in souvenir shops. These days however, the internet has made it so that you can easily purchase plastic hockey sticks for your knee hockey games.

Some of the best memories that youth hockey players will look back on are their times when they played knee hockey games and tournaments with all of their friends and teammates from their childhood. The great thing about knee hockey is that it allows children that like hockey to play the game that they love wherever they want. Most kids who play ice hockey love to play the game so much that they can’t wait until their next scheduled ice time which forces these children to organize their own knee hockey, street hockey or roller hockey games wherever they can.

If you are looking to buy some miniature plastic hockey sticks, you should definitely look online as you will find an abundance of these mini sticks for the classic game of mini hockey sticks. If you can’t find the mini hockey sticks that you are looking for at your local pro shop or souvenir shop, you simply need to do a simple search online and you should be able to find many sources for plastic knee hockey sticks offered for an inexpensive price.

For a lot of kids that attend professional, college or junior hockey games the most sought after souvenirs for them are the classic knee hockey sticks. For years youth hockey players have gathered in hotel hallways, basements of their homes and anywhere else that would make a good knee hockey arena to play some of the most intense knee hockey games you will ever see. Although playing with mini hockey sticks has led to many things breaking wherever it is played, when kids play knee hockey I am sure that they would say that it was worth any trouble they got in for the fun they had while playing knee hockey.

Back in the day it seemed that you could only find knee hockey sticks at hockey rinks or pro shops. Before the internet existed it was not all that easy to find mini hockey sticks, thus you pretty much had to make due with the limited amount of choices that you had. Now however, there are plenty of hockey equipment websites and team souvenir pages that offer several choices in knee hockey sticks. The great thing about the knee hockey stick is that they are very inexpensive, yet they can offer children who want to play knee hockey countless hours of fun. Even if your mini hockey stick breaks, they are always easy to replace by going online.

Some of the best memories youth hockey players will have are the ones that they had with their teammates in between games. Going on road trips and staying at hotels, to the dismay of the hotel managers and probably parents, usually means the organization of some very intense knee hockey tournaments. I think most of the little rink rats from the past, today and the future will cherish the fun that they had while playing with their knee hockey sticks.

If you are looking to find a gift for your child, and they are interested in hockey, I would definitely have to suggest purchase a few miniature hockey sticks and some soft balls or pucks which won’t break anything. You do not necessarily need a net as you can use things around the house as a net, however these days they do make some very nice knee hockey nets that are not only relatively inexpensive, but they are also durable. Knee hockey will keep your child occupied with their friends for many hours and it will likely leave lasting memories for them which will be fun to look back on when they are too old to play mini hockey.

If used to collect hockey cards or if you still do, you probably have spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out exactly how to preserve the best cards that you have by keeping them in mint condition. Obviously collecting hockey cards should just be considered a fun hobby, but every now and again you must think to yourself, “I wonder how much my hockey card collection is worth?” Well the answer to that is next to nothing unless you kept your hockey cards in very good shape, and the only way to do that is to put each card in its own individual plastic case or to place your hockey cards in designated hockey card boxes, and if you are really careful you might just want to do both.

In order for your hockey cards to be considered any type of investment, whether it be large or small, you have to keep your cards in mint condition for many years. Most hockey card collectors do not want to buy as many individual plastic card cases as they have hockey cards, so for that reason using hockey card boxes is much more convenient and can do a very good job at keeping your cards mint. When I was a kid I used several different types of boxes for hockey cards, but the best ones were the ones that had separate rows with which to store my hockey cards in. Usually they had about three rows that you could organize your cards in. The hockey card box was a great way to store cards that I knew I wanted to keep in good shape, but did not necessarily want to take out and look at all that often.

If for some reason you like to look at your hockey cards frequently, hockey card boxes probably are not your best option. Instead you might consider buying some hockey card books. Each of these hockey card books have many pages with separate sleeves to hold anywhere from nine to twelve cards per page. Although the hockey card book does do a decent job of keeping your cards in mint condition, there have been instances where I have damaged my hockey cards by accidentally bending a page with cards in it.

If you enjoy collecting hockey cards, you should definitely consider trying to find a good way in which to protect each of your most valuable cards. For me storing the cards in a protective area, the best option was to buy a few hockey card boxes. The simply provide the best bang for your buck when it comes to finding protection for your ice hockey cards.

If you have ever collected NHL hockey cards you probably thought of them as an investment where if you could keep them in mint condition for many years, a good hockey players card could be worth much more than when you initially purchased it. While this is a possibility, turning NHL hockey cards for a profit is actually pretty difficult.

The truth about hockey cards, and other sports cards in general, is that most of the cards that you purchased quite a few years ago will not be worth much more than a few pennies more than when you actually purchased the hockey card long ago. But, if you get the right rookie card for a superstar hockey player and you can keep it in mint condition for a few decades, you could actually turn a hefty profit by selling the hockey card at a sports memorabilia store, auction or even online.

There is however, one major factor involved in whether or not your NHL hockey card will be worth a lot at some point in the future, the most valuable ice hockey cards have to be quite rare. If for some reason you ended up getting a limited edition rookie card for Wayne Gretzky, you could now easily sell that hockey card for a lot of money right now, but if you waited another twenty or thirty years you would probably make a killing. This is just a hypothetical situation, but you never know when you might come across a rare hockey card that you should make sure not to trade away and to keep in mint condition.

If you are an avid NHL hockey card collector, you will probably want to know the value of your hockey cards buy purchasing a Beckett price guide for hockey cards. This way you can know what of you cards have the most potential to make money in the future. Obviously, you should not get into collection hockey cards because you think that they will make you rich, because the chances that you would be able to sell your cards for a lot of money in the future are slim. You should approach collecting hockey cards as a hobby that you enjoy, and if at some point down the road you make some money off of your collection then that is just an added bonus. I had a lot of fun collecting hockey cards as a child, and have never made a dime off of any of my cards, but that doesn’t really matter to me because I always enjoy being able to look through my old cards and remember back to the times when I first got those cards.

Every year it seemed as though everybody on my team was obsessed with knee hockey tournaments anywhere that they could be had. I always felt like it was an exclusive miniature hockey stick club that only my friends and I were a part of, however, I have come to realize that almost everybody I know that played hockey as a child had mini hockey stick tournaments just like we did when we were young.

We played knee hockey anywhere we could, but I had a one place that stands out as one of the best locations for the ultimate mini hockey stick games. The all time best spot for knee hockey is in the hotel hallways while your team is out of town on a road trip. I realize that any hotel and it’s guests would not take kindly to mini floor hockey stick games being had at all hours of the day, and I am certainly not condoning kids today playing knee hockey in hotel hallways, I’m just simply saying that hotel hallways were always the funnest places to have our intense games.

Buying miniature hockey sticks can be difficult if you are not in the hockey scene. However, if you play hockey and go to tournaments you can often find these little hockey sticks at souvenir stands or pro shops at the ice rink where the tournament is located. Another place where you can often find mini sticks to purchase is at local professional, minor league, college or junior hockey games. A lot of times these rinks also have souvenir shops and mini hockey sticks often compete as some of the souvenir stands best sellers. If you do have trouble finding a place where you can buy the mini stick, you can be sure that you should easily be able to find some online by doing a simple search on the internet.

One thing is for sure, if you have kids who are interested in hockey you might consider buying them a few mini hockey sticks and a soft ball or soft hockey puck. I can almost guarantee that your children will have hours of fun with their own set of mini sticks to play knee hockey with.

There are quite a lot of classic arcade style games that are still popular today, however, one game stands out as the most beloved arcade game amongst hockey fans and arcade game lovers alike. Chexx bubble hockey is a table hockey style game where you stand at one end of the table and control all of the players on your team with rods. The hockey players have a path that they can follow, and the player can move them up and down the table and when any player on your team gets the puck you spin the rod and the hockey player in turn ends up spinning in order to shoot the puck. You also have control of your own goalie as well. Usually the best way to play without leaving yourself vulnerable to getting scored on often, is to always have one hand on your goalie, and then use your other hand to control whatever player is closest to the puck.

Though it might sound like a very simple game, it is incredibly fun for new players and experienced players alike. Some Chexx bubble hockey players are very advanced in their bubble hockey table skills. These players often compete in designated bubble hockey tournaments and leagues, and they take their table hockey very seriously. These types of players have systems and strategies that help them to setup plays similar to how real hockey gets played. These advanced dome hockey table players are very fun to watch, but if you are new to bubble hockey, you probably do not want to try and compete with the advanced player until you get some practice.

The Chexx bubble hockey table is pretty expensive, but if you can afford it, it is a great game to have in your home if you enjoy playing table hockey. While the Chexx table hockey brand would cost upwards of a few thousand dollars for you to own and have in your home, if you do not mind having a more generic brand with not quite as many of the “authentic” features offered by Chexx, you could always see about purchasing a lower grade table hockey game that is still quite fun in it’s own right. Whether you own a bubble hockey table, or you just play at arcades or sports bars, one thing you can bet on is that you are going to have a great time playing the classic game of bubble hockey.

If you have been to an arcade in the last 20 years or so you have probably seen a bubble hockey table. What you might not know is that there are many people who are very serious about playing bubble hockey. It might seem like a trivial game that is just for fun, but many die hard bubble hockey players take their skill as seriously as a regular hockey player might.

While most people play a bubble hockey table against their friends or family members just for fun and they might be somewhat competitive about the game while they are playing, there is a small amount of players that are totally obsessed about playing table hockey and dominating everyone that they play.

Well, luckily for the bubble hockey obsessed people, there are actually leagues and tournaments for people who love to play bubble hockey. These people even practice setting up plays with their players. The bubble hockey table is similar to the foosball table in that they were both made for people to have fun and for entertainment purposes, but there is a certain percentage of people who take the game so seriously that they take pride in their skill and they truly want to beat everyone that they play.

If you are incredibly serious about bubble hockey, and you want to participate in tournaments or join a league, do some research online to find certain locations like arcades, bars, bowling alleys or even ice rinks that might have some organized bubble hockey competitions. The great thing about joining these leagues or tournaments is that if you actually are a skilled player, you can really win a lot of money.

To get really good you would probably need to purchase a bubble hockey table. This does not mean that you have to spend a fortune to get the legendary Super Chexx bubble hockey table which could cost you thousands of dollars. You could purchase a cheap version of bubble hockey or table hockey that costs a few hundred dollars or even less. But rest assured, if you really want to get good at bubble hockey, you will really want to practice a lot, and the easiest way to practice is if you have your own version of table hockey.
